Dumplings for Dinner

So for lunch today I took Patrick to "The Press Room" where I was last Sunday and the manager remembered me from last week.  We had eggs Benedict and scrambled eggs with salmon & caviar.  Great Brunch.

And for dinner Patrick took me to Din Tai Fung.  This is a Taiwanese chain where I have eaten in Shangahi.  We did is all on our own this time.  I made sure to document the entire experience.

Our order - we had a picture menu with numbers to match on the order form.

Xiao Long Bao that Din Tai Fang is famous for - we had one order of these.

Another famous dumpling - black truffle pork - we has an order of this also and it was absolutely amazing.

As we waited we watch the dumplings being made.

Instructions on how to eat your Xiao Long Bau.

Patrick waiting......

Here are our black truffle pork dumplings before we dove in.

And to prove we were being healthy - here is the spinach with garlic.
