Osaka Japan - Part 2

Saturday we planned on an all day bike tour of Osaka.  We were fortunate to have the tour to ourselves with Ben our guide.

Neighborhood festival we cruised past.

Lunch

Ended our ride with Ben enjoying a local beer - Kirin
Dinner Saturday night was a Spanish restaurant - very good.

Our original plans were to fly home late Sunday night, but a typhoon aiming for Hong Kong cancelled our flight.   So where else better to weather a typhoon than in Japan.  We booked new flights on Monday and made some impromptu plans.  We decided to check out the aquarium on Sunday.

When we transferred trains on our way Patrick could not resist taking a picture of the bicycles all neatly lined up in the 'park and ride' area under the train.
A huge ferris wheel we decided not to ride.

Last sunset in Osaka

One more traditional Japanese meal - Tonkastu

We made it home early in the morning on Tuesday - as we were walking out of the airport I remarked "I will be back here tomorrow to pick up Mom & Dad".  That will be the next blog.....
