Seoul - October 2013

And the bags are packed again. Off to Seoul for our 2nd city of training.

This trip in Seoul I was on the other side of the hotel - so I had a different view - facing east, so the sun woke me every morning.

More food pictures.

1st lunch - pork chop

Japanese dinner in a local department store.  Food prepared right in front of us.

Dinner - yes there are onions, and I did pick them out.
Another night was Shabu-shabu (Korean Hot Pot).

Everyone gets their own soup to cook their dinner.

Lots of food again.

Stephanie finally found Mandarin Oranges in the office.

BBQ dinner.  Morag and Stephanie are enjoying while our friend used scissors to cut our meat.

Night on our own - Stephanie and I found "Chicken & Beer" restaurant.

Here is our Chicken & Gwen's Beer.

We also ordered "Fried Food and Fresh Fruit"

My tofu lunch.

Helen showing me how to properly mix the tofu.

A new find - persimmon.  I was hesitant to try  - it looks like a tomato, but I did try it.

Friday night dinner with the team.

Took lots of food pictures, but only got one of an ex-team member.  It was great seeing Sami.

Saturday was spent with Helen and her daughter Jimin touring Seoul.

A persimmon tree - definitely not a tomato.

View of Seoul from our walk around Insadong.

View of a mountain in the distance.

Cool flower

View of Seoul from a tea house where we all had tea.

Another interesting flower.

Jimin and Helen enjoying tea.

Helen and Jimin touring the garden at the tea house.

Cool gargoyle in the tea garden.

Wall of the tea garden.

Famous chicken kabobs we had to try.

Street performer doing amazing things with bubbles.

Saturday ended at a craft beer restaurant.

Stephanie's tasting.
Sunday was a trip back to the hair salon we found on our last trip.  This time I got highlights also.

Dinner Sunday night was at a local BBQ place close to the hotel.

Stephanie finally got to taste test South Korea's famous Soju.

Final drink at the airport Tuesday morning on the way to Shanghai.  For those that don't know Caribou started in MN, so it's cool to see it in Seoul
