Shanghai - October 2013

The Shanghai stop was much shorter on this trip, but we still tried to take full advantage of  our time.  I was very happy to catch up with two close friends - Sandra and Melvin.

Stayed at the Four Season's this trip.  Much brighter hotel.
 
First night's dinner was at the Boxing Cat - it was a recommendation from a colleague in HKG.

A plate from lunch on Wednesday - Lotus Root.  Sent this picture back to  the trainer who traveled with us this summer.

Wednesday night we went local - Wujiang Street - here are the dumplings being made.

Stephanie and Morag being very local - eating their dumplings on the street.

After the dumplings - Steph had a pork bun.  Probably her last one.
We dropped into Marks & Spencer and Steph found pre filled glasses of wine that were vacuum sealed.  It was very hard to resist buying one, but we did.

Thursday night I had dinner with my friend, Melvin.
Friday night was a quick meal of local dumplings with David then Karaoke with the team.




 



Last stop on Saturday before a late night flight to New Delhi was "Dragonfly" for a foot massage.
