Commute

I had a request to see what our commute from temp housing to the HK office looks like.  So I tried to take pictures on two different days - but as is typical - things move fast - so they are mostly blurry.

So we start out on a shuttle bus from our apartment to Central - by doing this we avoid one stop on the MTR and we don't need to change trains.

Here is the street view walking toward our shuttle.

Street view looking back at our apartment building

Shuttle bus - driver knows us now.

Street sign

IFC tower where we get dropped.

Elevator ride down....
Stalls you scan your octopus card in to get in and out of the system.

Up close blurry view.
And lots of blurry people.

There are people movers to help things along - in the distance are GAP ads.
More people movers and lots of ads.

Another escalator down.

We are the first stop on this line - so the train is pretty empty.

In the typical British way - "Mind the Gap"

Mind the Gap in Chinese too.

2nd stop and the people flood in.

Then we have another hike underground after we get off - this view is just a sea of people most mornings.
And another long people mover.

Finally the escalator up to the daylight.

Walk on the street.

To our office building - Tsim Sha Tsui Centre - the "T"s are silent.
