Tourist Day #1 - Tour #2

Second Tour of the day we took was the "red" tour of Hong Kong Island.  We actually got pretty close to where we are temporarily living.

Here we go:

Here is the Hong Kong Convention center where Gwen will actually be on Wednesday for a textile show.
This is the national flower of Hong Kong - Bauhinia (orchid).  This one is honoring the hand off of Hong Kong from the British to China in 1997.

More tall buildings

Cool view of palm trees between skyscrapers.

Ah Causeway Bay - people, people and more people.

Large something commemorating the Mid-Autumn Festival

More People

This is a typhoon shelter where people bring their boats near Causeway Bay.

Construction - another constant, and yes it is Bamboo.

The bus stopped by where we had brunch last Sunday.

Here is a temple under construction near where we have been brunching on Sundays.

Cool building that was turned into a night club.
