Tourist Day #1 - Tour #3

So we ended our first tourist day with a night tour of Kowloon.  We started at Central - took the Cross Harbor Tunnel and ended in Kowloon - MTR ride home.  With this night tour brought on many opportunities to play with the camera to see how to get the best night shots.....

Here we go.

Looking across the bay at where we are going.

One last look at the tall buildings up close in Central.

And in Wan Chai

Here we go under the tunnel.

And here we are on the other side.

Patrick called it "art" and would not let me delete it - so I am posting it.

Here is a look back on Hong Kong Island as we wait for the tour to start.

Cool hotel lit up.

Ah the Intercon.  Yes we have stayed there on many a trip here in the past.

And here is the Peninsula - it is on our approved list of hotels, but I have not met anyone who has stayed here.

Another shot of the Peninsula a glow at night.

Nathan Road - a glow of neon.

The back side of the Peninsula - another stop to pick up people.

The ICC tower we can see from our apartment lit up every night.

A side view (not sure how to rotate the picture) of the ICC .

The Ladies Market

Another shot of the Ladies Market - we will be back tomorrow.

You would not known it was night will all the bright lights.

Neon, neon and more neon

The Jade Market

1881 Heritage - will be back tomorrow.

Another shot of the Peninsula a glow

And a close up of the water fountain.

This is "Tapas" at the Shangri-La.  Again many a meal have I eaten in the past here.

Next building on Salisbury Road is where our office is located.
